This tutorial is useful if you have any PDF files you'd like to include within your website. It's actually very simple and very quick. (Please note that my PDF files was a pricing menu to the products I sold through my site so they did not require any comments or feedback from the sites visitors)
For this I used the module simply called PDF found at drupal.org. Install the module and follow the following steps.
Create a content type. In this case I just named it PDF, Publishing options > unticked "promoted to front page", Display options > unticked "Display Author and date information", Comment settings > change drop down menu for "Default comment setting for new content" to "Hidden" and "Save content type"
Next, under manage fields tab add a new field. For this I named it pdf again. change the field and column fields to "file" in the drop down menu and click save. It should look like this:
In the next page click Save field settings since we want to keep the default settings given our needs. In the next page scroll down and change the "Number of values" to unlimited (this lets you add any amount of PDF files). Click Save settings.
Now your ready to upload your PDF files.
Go to Content > Add content, choose "PDF". Give your PDF a name and body(optional). Scroll down and you can upload all your PDF files. After that scroll down and under "Comment settings" pick Closed, under "Publishing options" untick promoted to front page.
If you want your PDF files to be on a specific page like I did you can goto "URL path settings" and put in the URL alias that you chose.
Then click "Save" and you're done!
